Let’s see….it wasn’t as good as the book. I must admit taht the movie was good though. Many of the characters were true to the book which I love because the author made the characters real and there would be no reason to change them. The actress who played Bella seemed kind of weird…I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. I know that they tried to keep Carlise true to the character but I thought he was ugly. In the book he’s described as movie star “hot”…I don’t think so, but whatever. Overall the movie was good and stuck for the most part to the book which is how it should have been. Any other way I would have hatede it. Hopefully New Moon is as good.
One more thing that annoyed me to end…When Edward was playing piano for Bella briefly, he played a gazillion parallel 5ths. I don’t really know but my piano teacher always told me to avoid parallel 5th’s because of the sound they make. It’s very Asian and I KNOW that’s not the sound he was going for.
