It’s my birthday! It’s my birthday!

5 07 2008

Well, I made it! I’m seventeen. Who would have thought that I would make it this far. Certainly not me. I guess life will keep on going and I’ll keep getting older. One more year to college. Hopefully I’ll be finishing school in the next couple days like I’m supposed to. I made my own cake this year again. Third year in a row. How depressing. Although on a brighter note, I had a friend volunteer to plan a real party for me next year!
So a recieve some super cool gifts. One of them is from a friend in Alaska. It was a metal sign that said: Carnegie Hall, in large letters! That’s sure to keep my priorities straight. If you didn’t know, it’s always been my goal to play at Carnegie Hall. I don’t know if I’ll ever get there, but dreams are good for someone to have. The second gift I got was a music book with lots of challenging classical music, we’ll see if I can ever play them, and a metal “comb” that holds music books open. I’ve needed one for a while but I was too lazy to buy one. Finally, I got clothes from my parents. Of course. That’s fine I can always use more clothes. Can’t everyone? Oh, and I got money from all my other relatives. Which is great! I need money. I’m broke right now. But that’s ok. I’m still looking for another job. I have until the end of summer. Hopefully I haven’t borred you all too much. Keep reading. Don’t forget to cheak out my youtube page. http://www.youtube.com/concertpianist15
