Wondrous Love

Poem #5. This was written during my church’s mission conference. I found inspiration in one of the messages.

Wondrous Love

Ezekiel 34:6

To earth God sent His Son
To show His wondrous love
His life He freely gave
Every man to save

Wondrous love, wondrous love
He shared with all mankind
His lost sheep
He really wants to find
He is full of mercy
Grace He freely gives
Wondrous and free
Is His love.

The price he paid was great
His life the total cost
Dying on a tree
Setting all men free.

Looks like two verses with a chorus between?
(Actually you referenced a Bible verse too. How many poems got their spark from a passage in Ezekiel?)
Nice job!!!

I don’t know how many. Probably not to many. I had actually written most of the poem…then I heard a message and the verse tied this poem together, kind of.
